PROMOTING RESPONSIBLE OPERATIONS AND PRODUCTION
Through its National E-waste Collection Network, TII onboards Members from across the private and public sectors, providing free basic e-waste collection and processing services, in turn reducing the e-waste allocated to municipal landfills, and addressing illegal e-waste dumping and management practices.
TII also offers its Members premium services such as data destruction and Green Certificates.
PROMOTING RESPONSIBLE LIVING AND CONSUMPTION
TII will be launching periodic National E-waste Awareness and Collection Campaigns with the objective of raising public awareness about E-waste and how to safely dispose of it. In addition to its targeted campaigns, TII will be setting up E-waste collection points in order to allow individuals and households a continuously safe, reliable, and convenient way to dispose of their unwanted e-waste.
E-WASTE BI-PRODUCTS
After its environmentally sound processing and treatment, byproducts extracted from the collected E-waste will be re-introduced into local economies. Additionally, specific byproducts will be used in the production of sustainable consumer products by members of marginalized communities.
