FOUNDER

Born in Rome to a Palestinian-Jordanian father and Turkish mother, Mira spent most of her early years in Jordan before moving to Montreal in order to pursue her studies at McGill University from where she obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Marketing. She is fully fluent in English, Arabic, Turkish, and French.

Mira spent the first half of her career life within the corporate world, working with some of the most renowned companies in luxury fashion and property development in Canada, Turkey, and Jordan. Prior to the age of 30, Mira moved to London in order to amalgamate her entrepreneurial and creative sides to launch her namesake jewelry brand M I R A.

After successfully running the brand for five years, she decided to shut down the brand in order to commit her learned experiences and passion to develop a social enterprise that may help preserve the environment while empowering global citizens to consume and live more responsibly.

She currently lives between London, Istanbul and Amman, and spends her free time practicing yoga, playing tennis, and taking long walks by the Bosphorus.
